The Sunday Movie

.

That world contest shook up California surfing, Doyle recalled. At the time we were all riding 10-foot surfboards with trash-can noses, and we were still into an old-fashioned style of surfing there you stomp on the tail to kick the nose up, let the wave build-up go in front of you, then you either run forward and crouch down inside the tube, or else you stand on the nose and arch back in a kind of pose. We had all these stock poses we did over and over el Spontaneo, Quasimodo, Nose Tweaking, Bell Ringing.

Old Indians never ever die

Very glad to present you this Watermill documentary. Maybe some of you will remember seeing the first part of this document 15 years ago.
I had at the time flashed on the story of lovers who meet for an Indian rally in the north of Scotland. Some not hesitating to cross the whole Europe to the handlebars of very old machines to get together and celebrate the brand.
A real passion is for life... and this is what this document show you thru their passionates riders.

Gran Torino

.

I just saw the Gran Torino movie tonight just a pure Chef D'Oeuvre

Gran Torino is a 2008 American drama film directed and produced by Clint Eastwood, who also stars in the film. The film marks Eastwood's return to a lead acting role after four years, his last leading role having been in Million Dollar Baby. The film features a predominantly Hmong cast, as well as Eastwood's younger son, Scott Eastwood, playing "Trey". Eastwood's oldest son, Kyle Eastwood, provided the score. The film opened to theaters in a limited release in North America on December 12, 2008, and later to a worldwide release on January 9, 2009.

The story follows Walt Kowalski, a recently widowed Korean War veteran who is alienated from his family and angry at the entire world. On a dare by his cousin for initiation into a gang, Thao, Walt's young neighbor, tries to steal Walt's prized 1972 Ford Gran Torino. Walt develops a relationship with the boy and his family.

Gran Torino was a critical success, and became Eastwood's most lucrative film by grossing over $283 million worldwide.

Easy Rider turns 40

.

The Harley-Davidson Museum is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the movie “Easy Rider” with a special showcase featuring the “Captain America” chopper.

The Milwaukee, Wis. museum is displaying a replica of the modified Harley-Davidson FLH police bike ridden by Peter Fonda’s character “Captain America” Wyatt in the film, originally released in the U.S. on July 14, 1969.

There were two original “Captain America” motorcycles used in the production of the film. One was destroyed in the making of the movie and the other was lost. The replica on display was built in 1999 to mark the film’s 30th anniversary.

The Spanish Trail Movie 3rd part

" Six motorbikes, three women, six men and appointment in " The 100 Marches "at midday. We started with a big sun for three days of unknown.
I left to make a ballade in motorbike with enthusiasts. I knew neither motorbikes, nor enthusiasts. I was a beginner passenger, beginner also in feelings. In motorbike, treasure is in feelings. Abandonment and the body make the rest.
Three days of valleys and roads, a mountain to climb, breaks and always the sun.
I developed an immediate aesthetic fascination for Norton, and, when the men started them up, I was in trance. I liked breaks because I knew that I was as their motorbikes, I waited only this, leave again together, to make only one.
I closed my eyes, I was attentive to the slightest noise, I viewed the speed, I took the landscape across the visor. I was grateful for all what she had my Norton in the belly.
These men and these women make me enter into their world right away, at the first sight I was theirs. The silent, dumb solidarity, which there was between them, between us, gave me desire, desire where this does not stop.
In motorbike you are alone, even if you have somebody in the back. Motorbike, loneliness and road are the single artery. Purpose is the next kilometre, which it even is trip.
My first time was the good. I knew nothing of their world. I only knew the love of the children and of the men. Norton is not only a motorbike which you would like to have, but it is also a philosophy. If there is a trap in motorbike, it is because you feel like a king. The noise of the engine misses you, and it is as it that they dream one day to have his, quickly.
Norton has nothing to prove because to be nice in this point there does not exist. "
