Two Hearts

.

Two hearts are better than one, Two hearts girl get the job done, Two hearts are better than one ...

I love this song from the Boss, Litle Steven is not yet Silvio Dante in the Sopranos and Clarence Clemons is just simply amazing as usual. Its easy to see that Bruce & Steven each time they're singing this song have something in common.

Push it

.

1987 i was 25 and a Ramones addict but one day listening the radio i discover " Salt'n Pepa " and their album Hot, Cool & Vicious ...
Push it, the main tittle is for me the best Hip Hop song ever released, just listen to it today and you will understand.
( Sandy, I love you ...)

Salt-N-Pepa is a Grammy Award-winning American hip hop trio from Queens, New York, that came onto the music scene in 1985.
The group, consisting of Cheryl James ("Salt", now Cheryl Wray), Sandra Denton ("Pepa"), and DJ Deidra "Dee Dee" Roper (Spinderella), has sold over 15 million albums and singles worldwide and is one of the top selling rap acts, either male or female. Salt-N-Pepa is the best-selling female rap act, and six of their single releases have been certified either platinum or gold in America by the RIAA.

Them Belly Full

.

Forget your sorrows and dance!
Forget your troubles and dance!
Forget your sickness and dance!
Forget your weakness and dance!

1993 or 94, I dont remember very well. I was working, early morning, in a shoe factory.
It was maybe 7 or 7:30 am, just arrived to the factory and i saw him - Bob - falling from the sky right onto my desk. Actualy it was not Bob but Jah thru the image of Bob Marley.
Ok, Ok it sounds more than weird but i never listen a single note of reggae until this day and since this time i started buying reggae records and learn a little bit more about this Great guy.
Dont think i was under "J" or whatever ..., i was just clean and ready to work

Rockaway Beach - 1977

.

1,2,3,4 ...

Chewing out a rhythm on my bubble gum
The sun is out and I want some.
Its not hard, not far to reach
We can hitch a ride
To rockaway beach.

I was 15 years old and my one and only favourite band were (...nd still are ) The Ramones.
Rockaway Beach was a dream for me, "one day i will go to surf at the Rockaway Beach"
Joey, Johnny, Deedee and Marky the Fabulous 4. They were the best Punk-rock band ever born in the U.S.A.
I remember many years later when i first came to NYC my first visit were for the CBGB and the Mudd Club. I saw twice the Ramones in Bordeaux and San Sebastian (Spain) and they're still the best concerts i ever saw.
A Perfecto, a pair of destroyed Levis jeans and burned white Keds and you were ready to go.
GABBA GABBA HEY ... (we accept you)

The Stranglers - Midnight Summer Dream

I remember the last time i saw the Stranglers in concert in 1980 or 81 in Bordeaux, they only performed for 30 mn because of the fight between JJ Burnel and Hugh Cornwell... it was a mess but those guys were rads, it reminds me that at this time everything was possible, no aids, no Madoff, no TV reality. It was pure Punk-Rock and i miss those guys as the Stranglers, the Ramones and when Iggy was with the Stooges and not sucking Arielle Dombasle's ass.
